NICHE technologies is an investment company for seed stage ventures. We make investments in internet, media and psychospiritual technology. Our passion is working alongside entrepreneurs (and being the entrepreneurs) who give birth to new technologies and build wildly prosperous companies. We’re centrally located in Denver, CO and invest in companies across North America.
The partners of NICHE technologies Inc. started building businesses in their basement. They haven't looked back. Rob Murphy, founded NICHE technologies Inc. with Michael Murphy in 2006. Soon after, Sean Murphy and Darren Murphy joined the company. Nathaniel Brown became a partner in 2009 bringing 10 years of software and business building experience to the team.

As early-stage investors, we make seed investments (from $25,000 - $500,000) into our portfolio companies. We do not participate in larger, more traditional Series A venture financing rounds. NICHE partners currently play an active role in the management and operations of all portfolio companies. We leverage our experience in starting and growing companies, our expertise with internet, media, psychospiritual technology, and our network of relationships to help build prosperous companies in this new era of businesses awakening. Spiritual Capitalism
Spiritual capitalism is our business philosophy that the success of an enterprise is measured by values like “integrity” and “commitment” as much as by targets like “efficiency” and “profitability.” It doesn’t mean prayer sessions or guided meditations in the boardroom, unless you want it to. It’s based on the recognition that every businessperson—whether you’re the CEO of a multinational or a startup entrepreneur—is in the service industry, and the services rendered must benefit not just yourself and your shareholders, but the collective good of the planet and other people.In the 18th century Adan Smith argued that the free market—in which “every person, so long as he/she does not violate the laws of justice, is left perfectly free to pursue his/her own interest his/her own way, and to bring both his/her industry and capital into competition with any other person”— is the best way to build wealth. The DOJO
Dojo literally means “place of the Way.” Much like a martial arts practice hall, the WAY NICHE operates is a pursuit for mastery in the face of challenges. The true challenge is not between people and external things – but within ourselves. Being a part of NICHE means going within yourself and seeing the work you do as a reflection of who you are on the inside.
